Community Resource Centers
Strength In Peers’ Community Resource Centers offer no-cost, barrier-free support to anyone in need.
Through our Centers, we provide:
- Case management and referrals
- Application assistance for housing, healthcare, employment, and recovery
- Public computer lab for online applications and communication
- Emergency supplies for people experiencing homelessness: toiletries, blankets, socks, rain ponchos
- Food pantry stocked for individuals without access to refrigeration or cooking
- Weekly peer-led support groups: Dual Recovery Therapy, AcuDetox, SMART Recovery (in English and Spanish), Sober Living, Yoga & Meditation, and Anger Management
In-person peer groups occur at our Harrisonburg Main Street location and on-line via Zoom!

Mobile resource services are available for Shenandoah and Page County residents with limited transportation. Call 540-217-0869 to schedule an appointment.
Each of our Community Resource Centers offers a small food pantry with ready-to-eat items for individuals experiencing homelessness or without access to a kitchen. We also provide hygiene products and other basic supplies to help meet immediate needs.
