Community Resource Centers

At Strength In Peers, recovery and wellness are never out of reach. Our Community Resource Centers provide case management, computer access, food, emergency supplies, and connections to life-saving health and human services.

From Harrisonburg to New Market, these Centers are lifelines for people facing homelessness, poverty, addiction, and behavioral health challenges—offering not only practical help, but also dignity, compassion, and a community of support.

Strength In Peers’ Community Resource Centers offer no-cost,
barrier-free support to anyone in need.

  • Case management and referrals
  • Application assistance for housing, healthcare, employment, and recovery
  • Public computer lab for online applications and communication
  • Emergency supplies for people experiencing homelessness: toiletries, blankets, socks, rain ponchos
  • Food pantry stocked for individuals without access to refrigeration or cooking
  • Weekly peer-led support groups Dual Recovery Therapy, AcuDetox, SMART Recovery, Sober Living, Yoga & Meditation, and Anger Management
