Peer Support Groups: Open groups are available throughout the week with experienced peer group facilitators. Groups include:

  • Alcohol and Substance Abuse Recovery
  • Friends of Recovery
  • Turn the Page
  • Recharge Your Batteries

Offender Re-entry Program: Program assists ex-offenders re-entering Rockingham County and Harrisonburg.
Clients eligible for enrollment in our peer support services must meet ALL of the following requirements:
  • Sentenced to at least 3 months.
  • Serving at least 3 months.
  • Have a substance abuse problem.
  • Returning from a local jail or state prison.
  • Returning to Harrisonburg or Rockingham County.
All eligible re-entering ex-offenders participants are provided free outpatient substance abuse treatment at the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board. Additional treatment options are available for those who need them such as free HIV and Hepatitis C testing.
Trauma Program: Program provides assistance and understanding on anxiety, depression, and substance abuse issues. Clients eligible for enrollment must be a resident of Page or Shenandoah County, Virginia. All eligible participants are provided access to mental health treatment at Shenandoah County Community Health Clinic. Some services include, but are not limited to: navigating housing and employment services and obtaining referrals to community resources.

Other Services
Drop-In Recovery Center: Open Thursdays and Fridays from 10AM to 3PM, the center offers free one-on-one support, computer lab, and information resources to walk-ins.
REVIVE! Opioid Overdose Training: This training offers information and resources on how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose and naloxone.
